If you are referring to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Davao, as far as I know is Archbishop Fernando Capalla. For the Greek Orthodox Church, Philippines (which includes the city of Davao) falls under the Metropolitanate of Hongkong and Southeast Asia. Metropolitan Nektarios Tsilis is the present Archbishop. For the Aglipayan Church, because they have two factions, Bishop Delfin Callao, Jr., is the present bishop of Philippine Independent Church while Bishop Perfecto Oberio is the Bishop for the Philippine Independent Catholic Church. I do not know for the other religions.
The Philippine Independent Church was inspired by Bishop Gregorio Aglipay (1860-1940) who himself was excommunicated from the Roman Catholic Church, became a Freemason, and married. The church was formed in 1902, partly in response to the history of mistreatment of native Filipinos by Spanish colonial priests. The church does not require clerical celibacy and rejects the primacy of the Church of Rome.
Philippine Independent Church was created in 1902.
The population of Philippine Independent Church is 6,000,000.
The population of Philippine Independent Church is 1,939.
While similar to the Catholic religion, they are not Catholic as they do not accept the authority of the pope and also allow for married clergy.

Type your answer here... The Philippine Independent Church was started during the Philippine revolt against Spain in the 1890's. The Pilipinos who were studying and training as seminarians in the Philippines supported the revolt against Spain. When they were going to be ordained they chose and joined this newly formed church where they believe in the bible, in Jesus Christ, God the Father, and the Holy Spirit, they confess to God directly and their ministers/priest get married. The last two precepts made them protestants right away, similar to the episcopalians and the anglicans. The Pilipino seminarians who joined this new church were also Katipuneros. There were two catholic seminaries in the Philippines at that time , in Manila and in Vigan, Ilocos Sur. Katipuneros were the Pilipinos who fought the Spaniards. My grandfather was one of them, a Katipunero and an Aglipayan priest. They were called Aglipayan because the head of this group was Fr. Gregorio Aglipay, a former catholic priest. The Philippines through Dr. Jose Rizal asked the United States to help in the fight against Spain. The United States declared war against Spain. The rest is history.....the Spanish-American War. rcm.
One of the beliefs of the Aglipayan church is that God is the principle of life and movement. The church also believes that the universe was developed and not created as they believe matter has no being.
