no they aren't. i have even swam with lemon, reef and nurse sharks in the Bahamas. I was snorkeling and loads of sharks came and they don't do anything. Everybody was scared but i think that the sharks were even more scared!!! The really dangerous sharks are tiger and the Great White Sharks.
I will leave your original response above which opens with a falsehood.
While I am sure that it is not your intent, the facts are, that Lemons can be
dangerous to humans and there are recorded "unprovoked attacks" every year.
I have had a good deal of experience with sharks as a Divemaster, APNEA diver
and a film professional.
I was attacked in the Turks and Caicos by an 8-9ft Lemon and was only saved
by the intervention of a very special Dolphin named JoJo.
Nurse sharks will even attack if provoked. I have witnessed folks with less than sound judgement, being bitten by nurse sharks that were being tampered with.
Reef sharks (white tip, black tip) both can be very dangerous to humans, especially in frenzy
(they are now commonly chummed into frenzy as part of a really ill conceived events known as "shark dives")as they are incredibly fast and increase in numbers rapidly when blood is sensed in the water.
Arguably, the most dangerous shark is really the Bull Shark. While one can be killed by a sizable Great White "tasting" them by the sheer damage done by the massive teeth and jaws,
the Bull Shark has the highest concentration of testosterone known in nature.
I have been charged and attacked by them a few times and was able to fend them off.
They are super territorial and extremely aggressive.
I would call you lucky or fortunate at best.
Most shark attacks occur in 1-3 ft of water within 15 ft of the beach.
No they aren't. I have even swam with lemon, reef and nurse sharks in the Bahamas. I was snorkeling and loads of sharks came and they don't do anything. Everybody was scared but I think that the sharks were even more scared! I actually love lemon sharks.
P.S. They are tasty when slow cooked and put over a salad with boulagnse sauce. :)
Well not at all to humans its a better chance that you get hit by lighting than to get attacked by a shark

Many sharks attack humans, but the big three are the bull shark, tiger shark, and great white shark.

The Bull Shark, as they are the species that are most likely to attack humans.
These sharks represent a small threat to humans. According to the International Shark Attack File, there have been only 10 unprovoked attacks by lemon sharks, all occurring in Florida and the Caribbean. There have been no fatal attacks attributed to this species. The lemon shark does inhabit coastal waters which swimmers, surfers and divers commonly utilize. The low number of attacks by this species indicates that it is a minimal threat to humans.
you will die 10 times out of 10
