No. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "Mormon" Church) does not own or operate any banks.

The Church owns Deseret Management Corporation, which is holding company. Deseret Management operates several media sources in the Western U.S., including Deseret News, Bonneville International, and KSL Broadcasting. They also operate Deseret Book (a religious book and media store), Temple Square Hospitality (a collection of restaraunts and reception centers in Salt Lake City), and Beneficial Financial group.

The Church also owns and operates many not-for-profit charitable organizations, including Deseret Industries (a thrift store), LDS Family Services, and grows, processes, packages, and donates food to various community sources and food banks.
