Islam is an Arabic word that means submission to God (Allah in Arabic), the Creator, the one and only one God with no partner, no associate, no son, no father, no companion, and no resemblance.
Accordingly; all the missions of God prophets, including Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad (Peace be upon them); were to call people for Islam (submission to God). Islam per God (Allah) revelation of Torah to prophet Moses is called Judaism. Islam per God (Allah) revelation of The Bible to prophet Jesus is called Christianity. Islam per God (Allah) revelation of Quran to prophet Muhammad is called the very name Islam.
So, all followers of the true God prophet missions (monotheism and worshiping God as one and only one with no son and no partner and no associate) are called Muslims and hence are superiors to all other non believers.
