Where is the vin on a 1946 willys cj2a?
The serial number is on a data plate on the right side of the firewall just below the lip of the cowl. It's held on by four screws, so it may be missing. If it is gone, there is no way to find the serial number unless you have some detailed history of the vehicle. on my 1946 willys there is another I.D. tag with matching number on the outside of the left front frame, just behind the fronr bumper
What are my options now i had a car accident?
so 2 months back i was driving and this car was coming at my so a swerved and hit a van. the car drove off and this lady came up and turned around saying it was my fault she saw it even thou she was coning up a steep hill and theres no way she could of seen it. anyway...i spoke to this guy and we agreed to go over it in cash i only hit his fronr wheel arch but due to shock i didnt take any pictures... i know stupid. anyway he said 2 weeks ago he booked it into a body shop its £700 and now hes staying i scraped all 3 pannels. i didnt report it to the insurence. he said he booked it in on a certain date because he was going on holiday. he gave me his address to drop off the money. i said no ill pay the garage. so now hes saying he couldnt book it in. and hes saying a different date now. i feel like hes having me on. what are my options?
