If the cv joints are going bad then it will sometimes jar real good when slowing down or accelerating quickly or turning even. It would effect slippage though. This will have to be adjusted by a good tranny shop. It could be many things when it comes to newer transmissions. It is better left to someone that has all the proper diagnostic equipment. Bc it could just be a bad shift solenoid and you wouldn't no that without running diagnostic pressure and computer component tests. I hope this helps you.

A sign of low transmission fluid in a vehicle is the gears not shifting properly. Transmission fluid can be checked to determine the level of fluid in the vehicle.

The first cause of the jump out from one to other gear is the loose shifter fork, which connects the shifting linkage and gears of the transmission. The second cause is loose shifting linkage itself, which connects the gear shifting knob and shifting fork. The shifting linkage and shifting fork become loose due to the rapid changing of gears from one gear to other at high speed of vehicle. The third cause is the misalignment of shifting linkage to the shifting fork.

Synchronizer maybe. not sure if that's how you spell it. I grind a little downshifting into second but not when shifting into any other gears. A mechanic buddy told me that's probably what it was.

It is compact in design but complecated. Smooth shifting of gears, noise free shifting most suitable for Passenger cars.

If the vehicle is having difficulties shifting in that many gears then there is one solution. The transmission itself will need replaced.

For a 1995, the manual says: The transaxle is monitored electronically for abnormal conditions. If a conditions is detected that could cause damage, the transaxle automatically shifts into second gear. The transaxle remains in 2nd gear despite the forward gear selected. Park, Reverse, and Neutral will continue to operate. This reset feature allos whte vehicle to be driven to a dealer for service without damaging the transaxle. In the event that the problem has been momentary, the transaxle can be reset to regain all forward gears. 1. Stope the vehicle and shift into Park. 2. Turn the key to OFF then restart the engine. 3. Shift into Drive to resume driving. Note: Even if the transaxle can be reset, it is recommended that you visit a dealer at your earliest possible convenience. .... If the transaxle cannot be reset, dealer service is required.

there is no light for it you just have to know your gearshift learn your gears I'm 14 years old and I can drive a manual transmission blindfolded you have to know your vehicle if not get rid of it
