NO! Each lamp on the vehicle is individually replaceable. Front lamps are accessible from inside the engine compartment. On the back side of the lamp assembly the lamp socket is held in place by a clip that either twists to release or by lifting a latching finger. Rear lamps require the lamp assembly to be dismounted from the vehicle and then the lamps are accessible from the backside. Avoid touching the lamp with bare hands. Body oils on your skin can cause a hotspot on the lamp and a shortened life. Better to use a dry paper towel to handle the lamp.

I need to replace the bulb on the driver side of my 2003 Dodge Grand Caravan. After searching this forum I found a similar question regarding the 2000 Caravan. It talked about under the hood removing three screws and pulling out the headlight assembly. I tried this and it worked on the 2003. 1) open the hood. 2) Carefully remove the three screws holding the headlight assembly in place. In my case the screws were black. Be careful as they are screwed into plastic. 3) Carefully slide the headlight assembly out. At this point you can replace the headlight bulb, turn signal bulb, or the entire headlight assembly. To replace the headlight bulb turn the collar holding the bulb in counter clockwise. Pull the bulb out of the headlight assembly. Replace the bulb. Insert the bulb into the headlight assembly insert the collar and turn clockwise until it locks. 4) Carefully insert the headlight assembly back into place. 5) Replace the three screws removed in step 2 being carefull not to over tighten.

I detail used cars at local dealerships and I have restored many Caravan headlight lenses. I use a product called Crystalenz, it works great and is really easy to use. You DO NOT have to replace the lenses. Check out their website www.crystalenz.com for more info. for removal, see: How do you replace the headlight assembly located on a 1994 Dodge Caravan?
Open the hood, remove the two locks that hold the headlight assembly in place, with the two locks removed you can wiggle the headlight assembly out and gain access to the back side of the assembly to remove and replace the headlight bulb.

Hi, There are three (3) wing nuts that have to be removed to take the headlight assembly out. Once they are removed, you simply pull the assembly up & out. I have included a link that shows these wing nuts and the process of taking the headlight assembly out. Good Luck!
To replace the headlight assembly on a 2006 Jetta, remove the front grill. Then remove the headlight assembly by taking off the screws that secure it in place. Replace with new.Ê
Hi, You have to remove the entire headlight assembly to get to the bulb, which is located in the back of the assembly. There are three wing nuts that hold the assembly in, and those will have to be removed. Then remove the side signal assembly first, then the headlight assembly. I have provided a link that shows exactly how this is done and where these wing nuts are. Good Luck
there is 3 10 or llmm nuts on the back of the headlight assembly, then once that is removed there will be 4 torx screws that hold the headlight trim in place, once these are removed then bumper fillers can be installed.
