Yes. How much depends on the radio. Heres a few examples.
1: Old car, with a radio that only puts out 20x4 watts of power RMS. Not much of a draw on power, so your alternater isnt under much more stress with it. Noticable, probably not. Were talking fractions of miles per gallon
2: My 98 Ford Mustang GT with a mach 460 sound system (Factory) Ok, so the stock radio puts out 54x4 watts of power. Nothing noticable, but then it powers 2 amps, 1 160watt, and one 300 watt for the subs. A bigger difference. I actually notice a difference in gas milage on long trips. About 1 - 2 MPGs.
3: I have a 2010 Ford Fusion that I just put a sound system into. 54x4 watts in the head unit, factory amplified (dont know the specs) and then a 300.1 Kicker amp (rated at up to 600watts). Now, under full load, everything turned up this thing draws alot of power and notice a huge drop in gas milage as well as power. Im talking about 5Mpgs.
This is what happens. As the car starts to draw more power, the alternator knows that it needs to apply more friction in order to supply the draw. The alternator gets harder to turn, and the motor has to work that much harder to turn the alternator to supply the power. Therefore you will use more gas with a louder sound system.
My car has SUPER great mileage! It has the best mileage ever!
A car antenna booster is used to 'boost' the radio waves of the car's antenna. This is usually used to improve radio quality and reduce static that might be heard.
No
They get slightly better city mileage then conventional cars. They would help reduce foreign oil dependence if people drove them.
There is no exact way to reset a Kia Sorrento radio using a code. Codes can be revealed at the car dealership providing you prove ownership of the car. The radio code is tied to the VIN number.
Your car's gas mileage is the distance a car will travel in regular driving conditions (city/hwy.) with a certain amount of fuel. Usually, in America, gas mileage is measured in Miles Per Gallon, or Mpg. This is the number of miles traveled by the car using 1 gallon of fuel.
If the car was taken care of and serviced regularly then this is not really high mileage. It is not low mileage either. Expect to spend money on some repairs on a car with this mileage. If the car has been neglected then this is high mileage.
The mileage is how many miles the car has travelled, the total mileage is shown on the speedometer dial.
.555 is the current reimbursement rate if you are using your own car.
Car mileage is the distance a car can travel on a tank of gas. This mileage is also the number of miles on a car at any given time and is registered by an odometer.
You need an ac-dc converter to reduce your house voltage to 12 volts
The function of car mileage is to tell a person how far their car has traveled total.
