If your dog is having accidents in your home, it shouldn't be having the run of your home if you aren't able to supervise it.
When you leave the house, or just not able to supervise your dog, it needs to be contained to either a dog crate (if it's crate trained) or to part of a room, or by using a child gate or two to section off a room. Lay a thick layer of newspaper down over the entire containment area, if you are using the child gates to contain your dog. This will make clean-ups easier.
Clean the areas of your home where your dog has had house training accidents with an enzymatic cleaner, such as Nature's Miracle or Simple Solution. This will help if your your dog is being re-attracted back to mark because of the smell. You may need more than one application of the enzymatic cleaner.
Take your dog outside on leashed walks frequently than you have been. Preventing accidents from occurring in the first place, is one of the most helpful things you can do when house training. Praise your dog lavishly when he or she goes to the bathroom outside during the walk.
If your dog is a male dog, neutering can help. Your dog might be marking territory, more than he's just going to the bathroom (though it's all the same to your rug!). Marking isn't considered a house training issue. You may want to try a Google search for "dog marking", to see how to stop that habit.
Containing your dog will be a good start.
maybe you do not let your dog outside enough??? make sure u dont punish him for weting in the house. reward him a different treat for going in his usual spot outside
thanks

Try training mats. They give off a scent that attracts dogs to pee on them, most pet stores sell them.
Get a smaller litterbox
It keeps the rain off. It keeps warmth in. It keeps robbers out.
Dachshund is having separation anxiety and does not like being left alone. I would create the dog when you are not home and he/she will probably not soil the crate as it would also soil the dog.
keeps it cool
