Yes this does work I just had the same issue, used a lubricant bam lights went off......just sprayed in the latches opened n closed sprayed again finally went off...
check the sensor on the door, its probably bad
Inside the door latches
the way to trouble shoot the blend door is if it stays in hot or ac mode means bad Blend door
The radio should go off when you open the door to get out. Maybe a relay?
they are incorporated into the door latches ,if your door ajar stays on one trick is to soak the latches down with wd-40 and keep opening and closing the doors and it should go off..
If the door is ajar and light stays on, spray some WD40 into the latch. The door switch is probably stuck. Spray all doors then open and close a few times.
I would assume you have either a "Door Ajar" indicator or the Dome light stays on. I don't know if it applies to the 95 but on our 97 the switches are located on the door latch mechanism inside the door. WD40 spray on the door latch really worked for the Dome Light problem, I would guess it will work on the door ajar switch as well.
On my 2002 sportage 2-door, the door ajar light stays on when the tailgate is not locked. with the key.
Try spraying WD-40 on the door latch, the part that is on the door itself. The door ajar switch is located in with the latch. Had the same problem, door ajar light on, interior light stays on, and horns toots twice when you lock with remote, to signal door is not closed. Door was shut but truck didn't know it, WD40 fixed it.
I just sprayed all my 1999 taurus door latches with silicon and it fixed it.
Because one of your door sensors are broken.
Ensure the light is switched to come on only if door open.
