If it is a rear door check the child safety door switch on the drivers arm rest. Great button to p#@$#$%^ your kids off.
If you open the drivers door and look in at the door jam you will see a sticker that will have that info written on it.
If you open the drivers door and look at the inside of the door jam you will see a sticker that will have the FACTORY tire size written on it.
With the front door open,the handle is inside the front of the rear door .Pull handle out .
When the fuel door is jammed on a 1999 VW Jetta the latch need to be reached from inside the trunk compartment. Removing the panel inside the trunk and reaching the latch from behind will open the fuel door.
first you have to raise the tail gate , or open the back door to your truck .just inside the door jamb, are four screws on 2 on side .undo the screw and your taillite will begin to back away from the rest of the truk .really simple really!
The linkage may have popped off or the lever on the inside handle may be broken. Remove the inside door panel and you will probably see what happened.

The usual reason that a door will not open from the inside on a Nissan truck is because the door handle is broken on the inside. The door panel will have to be removed and the door handle repaired or replaced to open the door from the inside again.

If the door won't open from the inside, then maybe it's due to the child safety locks. If it won't open from the outside, then maybe it's locked, or the door handle mechanism has broken, as it has on my 1998 Civic. From the inside, you might be able to remove the screw holding the handle and slide the handle set forward to remove it from the door.
You can not open the rear hatch door from the inside.
Open the driver door, look towards the hinge area, and there's a little plastic door to slide open and inside you will find all the fuses.
