Yes. Any time that you can go over 12 hours without eating will have a major impact on your weight loss. Overall though, it depends on what you are eating before 6 pm. You should just try to follow a low calorie diet and excercise for weight loss. I personally have to have a midnight snack almost daily..just depends on your will power.

  • Yes, in my opinion. I have been doing it for about two weeks now and I can really see a difference. I feel better too...going to bed full made me unwell in the morning. It's better for you!
  • In my opinion, it's not better for you. If your goal is to lose weight, you can do two things to stay "healthy". First, you can run, or any cardio exercises. And second, you can cut back on your meals. Eat a little less, and don't eat right before you go to bed. Not eating after 6pm can help you lose weight, but it isn't very healthy. If your stomach starts hurting, or you're just really hungry and don't think you can handle it anymore, then eat. Don't eat too much though. Pour some out on a plate, that's all you need. Fruits are good to eat if you're losing weight, because they don't add on weight. You can eat as much fruit as you want, and at the end of the day, you won't weight any more than what you did. Avoid breads and pastas as much as possible. Overall, just don't try to lose the weight too fast. You'll see a difference over time, but losing it all at one time will make you sick and want to eat even more to 'please' your empty stomach.

If you eat before 7pm there is a greater chance that you burn any Kj/ calories by doing physical activities before you go to sleep. The closer to your bedtime that you eat, the fewer activities will be done that can burn calories, so while sleeping they are stored as fat. whether you lose weight will depend on the number of calories you eat throughout the day and the amount you burn...calories in, calories out. hope this helps.

Assuming that you do not start eating again the next day, or any subsequent days, yes.

Other than that, the surest and safest way to lose weight is to dispense with the fads, the times, the types and such, and simply contact your doctor. He can advise on the proper exercise and diet regimen for your specific situation.

Technically, someone can lose weight, simply by not eating in the evenings. You are saving those extra calories that are not consumed. However, one must also moniter their food consumption throughout the entire day. At the end of the day, it is still a balance of calories in versus, calories burned - regardless of when the food is consumed.

No, it is not about starving yourself! It is more important to control the foods that you DO eat. For example making sure you have a blanced, nutritious diet. Also, not eating will upset your diet and routine, whcih in turn could have bad effects on your health.

The best way to lose weight is by exercising. Even walking to the local shops and back is a simple, easy way to burn calories. If you are not that keen on sport, you sould try dancing. Most people find that dancing is fun, as well as being a great way to socialize. IT is also very effective, and in some cases, more so than running!!

Hope this was helpful! :)

It really doesnt make you lose a considerable amount of weight, it just gives your stomach time to empty out. Plus you burn calories when sleeping.
