Ducks could stay in pools, but it cant have chlorine or saltwater, its a good idea to just let them stay in freshwater, its more safer, natural, healthier, and more fun for them :)
i hope this information works ♥

No, but if they swim in your pool a lot, the duck poop is going to make the water murky. Ducks and swimming pools are not a good combination. Pool sanitisers such as chlorine have no ill affect on the bird. Ducks like the pool environment as it is often a safe haven with clear water and unobtrusive surrounds. The duck droppings do have a negative effect on the pool water balance and will eventually clog the filter with the creamy white paste.
shoot 'em
you feed the duck bits of bread that have no crust
'Water to Ducks' is the name of the episode where George makes a pond out of his swimming pool for a family of ducks.
You can try puuting some plastic owls up around the pool area. Some of the new ones have heads which turn in the wind. You will probably find this to do the trick. You can put up a blow-up swan or plastic swans around the pool. Swans are natural enimes or ducks.
yes, if they swallow too much ( about 1ltr) it could make them ill.
Extremely unsanitary - you could get quite sick from their poop.
There was a product called "no more ducks" that broke the water tension that enabled ducks to float. It was withdrawn from the market 12 months ago and has not been sited since. Does anyone no why? It was very effective in keeping the ducks out of the pool as they could not get comfortable in the pool and flew off. new answer: Loud sudden noise, something to irritate or make the birds uncomfortable being there. Once their offspring have hatched they become imprinted on that body of water and will come back for years rearing their young. It takes persistance. ******** Several years ago a pool company told us to buy a alligator blow up and float it in the pool, WE HAVE HAD ZERO DUCKS SINCE THEN. WE TIE IT TO THE SIDE AND ALLOW IT ROOM TO MOVE AROUND. THIS WORKS. No more ducks is still available..... at least here in Australia. We also have a new product called Duck Solution (ducksolution.com.au) and it is used if the ducks are hanging around poolside and fouling the area. Once they got a taste and smell of it they left. They have not returned. I think they went down the street. Anyway not here.
If you are planning on have a few ducks (4-6) a 9x9 square pen is a good size. the fence that you use should have a small chain link so ducklings can't get out. the fence shold be at leats 6 feet high, to dicourage ducks from flying out. Apen should also have a hutch, so the ducks can be closed in at night (thats when animals that will eat them come out) and a small baby pool can be added to the pen for bathing. (just remember that the pool must be cleaned weekly and emptied durning the winter).
They most commonly live in a pond or lake. More likely a pond. But any little pool of water they will be by. For example my Aunt has a pool, and on the pool cover is water from all the rain and they'll live there.
