∙ 13y agoThe supreme court decided that once a slave always a slave (Tawney). Therefore, Dred Scott had no legal rights to sue and black people were never intended for citizenship. Also, they ruled the Missouri Compromise unconstitutional. It is condemned in the North, and it angers John Brown to fight against the South, which is a huge reason for the start of the civil war.
