Why were women angry about the Fifteenth Amendment? Because they didn't get to vote, too. They wanted Native Americans to get to vote, too. They thought it should have a clause that allowed everyone to vote even if they just moved to this country. They thought everyone over sixteen should be able to vote. They like the Fourteenth Amendment better.

The long-term consequences of this amendment were that women were not satisfied by the whole situation at all. Anger arose amongst them, and they started to argue that, they were left out. It seemed unfair to them that, newly freed African American men could have the right to vote, but they couldn’t.

On the other hand though, another effect of this amendment was that it gave a huge portion of the Untied States the privilege to vote, when before many people couldn’t.

well, to start off, i think (99% sure) that the 15 amendment gave the black men the right to vote. now women at those times thought they were superior than the blacks. The blacks were enslaved and all of a sudden they were given the right to vote! so women were INCENSED big time Hope this helps. (if answers is wrong: your fault) Womens rights.... not

The 15th gave voting rights to former slaves, but it didn't give the same rights to black and white women. It isn't until the 19th amendment is passed in the 1920's that women of all colors will get the right to vote.
