To get their food of flies and other fast insects, frogs use a darting, sticky tongue. Saliva helps digest the food somewhat. The food then moves from there to the stomach, where enzymes help digest the food more. The most digestion, though, happens in the small intestine.
1.Liver---- the organ that makes bile, largest organ in body, helps with digestion. 2.Gall Bladder------ secrets bile and other chemicals. 3.Esophagus-----------a channel that conducts food, by peristalsis, from the pharynx to the stomach. 4.Pancreas----------- an organ that makes chemicals called pancreatic juices that help digest carbohydrates and sugars. 5.Stomach-------- large muscular sac that continues the mechanical digestion of food. 6.Pyloric Valve---------- where food moves from the stomach to the small intestine. 7.Small Intestine where most transfer of nutrients to the blood takes place. 8.Large Intestine---- where water is removed before eliminating waste. 9.Cloaca--------in all vertebrates except mammals and reptiles, a chamber in the intestine that receives materials from the digestive, reproductive, and excretory systems.
