To soothe and earache you can heat up oil (preferably olive oil) to a point where it is warm but tolerable and pour it into your ear while you are laying down. After having the oil in your ear for about five minutes you need to lay down so your ear is draining over a towel to get out the oil. Then swab the excess out with a cotton swab. It should help. Feel better soon.
I have had earches from draft for 40 years, especially in hot weather when there is air conditioning on, or windows are open. Pain is like intermittent nerve shooting pains, and can be anywhere in or around earlobe, rarely inside ear. Once it starts, it can go on for days and can be quite debilitating. Anything warm helps somewhat, such as wearing ski hats, putting tiger balm behind ear, warm clothes, although this is uncomfortable in hot summer. Feet are often cold, and hot water bottles on feet may nelp, sometimes two for heels and toes. Tried every doctor and alternative practitioner I could think of, nothing helped. It is defintely genetic, several family members have same problem.
See your doctor, as you may have ear infection and that needs to be dealt with.
Sounds like either a tooth abcess or other tooth problems. Get to your dentist and have it checked out. Sometimes they can save the tooth, other times it has to be pulled for health concerns. Either way, see your dentist to find out what can be done.
I have been told that a drop of olive oil is good for an ear ache, it will also help remove ear wax.
Bleeding occurs from the middle ear if the eardrum is ruptured, or if the blood vessels of the ear or eustachean tube are damaged. These can be caused by impact, concussion wave, extremely loud sounds, or sudden severe changes in air pressure. The last three are essentially the same injury, pressure damage.

* I always find that if you massage the ear lobe -- the lower part of the ear, where you wear an earring -- the pain will minimize. * A drop or two of warmed garlic oil placed in the ear is great for ear aches.
Viagra can trigger Migraine and cause headache in certain individuals, and is listed as one of the side effects that is common with the drug.

Yes, wind whipping in your ear causes a pressure difference which can cause (or worsen) an earache. It happens to me when I climb mountains, or just walk on a cold and windy day.
I recommend carrying small ear plugs with you when you are out. If the wind starts whipping, put them in. It can help a lot.
Water clogged ear can cause ears to feel full and gradual hearing loss (temporary). It can also turn into an infection (Swimmer's Ear - increasing pain, redness, itching). If you have an infection, you will have to get antibiotics. There is nothing over the counter that will help with that. For water clogged ear, the objective is to keep it dry. Prevention: after swimming, tilt your ear downward while gently manipulating the auricle. You can also use a blow dryer on a low setting. If your ear has become water clogged, use a 50:50 mixture of white vinegar and 95% isopropyl alcohol (or water) with a dropper. The vinegar will help prevent bacterial infection and the alcohol will draw out the water. If you still experience pain, it will only be "fixed" by going to the doctor. In the meantime, over the counter Advil or Motrin will help with the pain. Applying heat might also help alleviate some of the inflammation. Heat raw rice or salt (they conduct heat well) and put in a thin sock. This should provide some heat without it being too hot for such a sensitive area.
well, it depends on whether it hurts minor or major
the best way is to wash your ear with cold water first
Benadryl is an antihistamine (helps allergies) which means that it would not help an ear infection.
Well to stop pain take pain medicines like IBProfien but if you haven't already you should see a doctor because you most likely have an ear infection and need anti-biotics too. Also you can try to put your warm hand over it if you woke up with it and can't fall asleep
