Credit card companies such as Mastercard or Visa typically do not sue over a specific amount in Texas. However, if you fail to make payments on your credit card debt, the company may choose to take legal action to recover the amount owed, which can vary based on the individual circumstances of the debt. It's important to communicate with the credit card company and seek options for repayment to avoid potential legal consequences.
Mastercard was not invented by a single person, but rather was developed by a group of bankers led by a man named Dee Hock. The company was originally called Interbank Card Association and was founded in 1966. The idea behind Mastercard was to create a universal payment card that could be accepted by multiple merchants around the world.
The company name and logo. Essentially the do the same thing.
Yes, they do accept checks. I called them, well the one near my town, and they said that they accept checks for their merchandise and their restaurant.

Nope... Once the full amount of money is used on the card, its worthless.
If a retailer "credits" money back to your card after a return of an item... then that money can be used.

However even though they are not reloadable, you can buy the new ones online itunes-giftcards.com/iTunes_match.html.

Vanilla MasterCard is just another one of the prepaid debit cards but just a newer brand compared to some of the main brands that can be found in almost every retail store these days. Since the MasterCard backed prepaids have the official MasterCard logo they can be used anywhere in person that accepts MasterCard. The MasterCard prepaids do have some limitations though compared to a true MC credit card and the main ones are that they can never be used at the ATM since you don't get a PIN number, and also your not allowed to go into a bank to have the cash value taken off by means of cash advance. The final major difference in a real MC versus any prepaid MC is that once the initial money is funded to the prepaid and it gets all used up, most of the time your done with that card and can throw it away. Only a select few prepaid MasterCard's have the ability to be reloaded with more cash after the initial purchase.
As for when your specifically using a Vanilla MasterCard you'll find there not as common in terms of stock and locations compared to the ones that have been around awhile already and got prime shelf space in multiple stores. However all Walgreen's carry a great stock of the Vanilla cards including ones that already have set amounts ($25, $50, $100) and one that can be loaded with cash from $30-$300 with just a $4.95 one time fee to setup/activate the card.
Now as you probably already know, there have been a lot of changes going on in the Internet poker world, and i would say almost all the major steps that were taken to disturb and shake up the existing system happened in the US, no surprise there. Now I love my country just as much as any other patriotic American, but sometimes our government is able to get its hand in places it never belonged. What I mean by that is they start out just monitoring some issue that lite enough of a spark to grab their attention and from there it seems like they have big control issues and cant just stay an interested observer. Slowly our government grabs little pieces of the pie and before u know it, we the people lose control just like currently with the Internet poker issue. Slowly our US government added more laws, passed more legislation's, and finally got the banks so scared about getting huge fines or possibly even worse, that now most banks and card companies work against the poker community.
LAME, LAME, LAME!!!!!!!!!!!
Here is how we have to deposit now to play poker in America on the computer. Prepaid cards are almost the only option for cards anymore. I have one visa credit card issued by a large US company so I salute them for giving the finger to the threats. As for the prepaid's, i don't know if any of the MasterCard prepaids work but i know anytime i tried it in the past, always was a decline. MasterCard has taken a way more proactive stance on keeping poker players from using their cards to buy in while visa is still able to help quit often. Oh well, screw MasterCard!!!!
The original question on this chat board was about the Vanilla MasterCard working on PokerStars since PokerStars was saying it for awhile, even recommending only vanilla cause nothing else works with their gay site. I play my Internet poker normally at Aced and Absolute, and then do weekly live games at some private poker halls around town. I have heard Poker Stars has a good poker ROM just a terrible cashier setup but the big signup bons they offered me convinced me to try
Its just my luck though causei finally buy one of these Vanilla's for $100 and go to PokerStars to sign up 2 days ago and find out the vanilla card quit working 12 hours before that and they didnt know why, still not working as of now.
And that's poker stars 1 and only card they offer, vanilla MasterCard, and in the mean time your only options to deposit is e-check and western union. e-check is great just once again not at p stars. my 2 checking accounts both have plenty in them but both rejected it right away cause they don't hide the poker code to merchants, so of course it all declines. The PokerStars lady said if the vanilla cards ever work again pokerstars will send a mass e-mail out, real reassuring, NOT
i know poker stars is a great poker site to play at, but they are one of the worst, possibly even the #1 WORST for depositing money into your poker account with them. They are the only reputable on line poker site I know of that wont take part in changing the numerical codes like all the other sites do to some extent. There are numerical codes that are assigned to different products peeps buy. From food, to gas, to clothes, and to the problem off it all, the code for "illegal Internet poker" Absolute Poker simply does a little renaming of what they say is being bought when i use my card. So it might say i bought car parts from a dealer in Europe one time, and the next it will say i bought clothes from a mall in Australia. Those things obviously weren't bought cause all the money went into my poker account, and still i never get denied.
You can't, if it's a preloaded, one-time use card. They cannot be used to withdraw cash in order to prevent them from being used for criminal transactions.
