How long will baking soda keep your urine clean to pass drug test?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Nothing of that nature is a guaranteed pass. I spent almost 100 bucks on a test clean kit and it didn't work. I'm sure baking soda and water won't work at all...Just clean up your act for a short while to pass the test or buy fake urine.

How long do Prozac withdrawal symptoms last and what are the withdrawal sypmtoms?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I have been on Prozac for 8 years. I quit cold turkey a month ago and still have brain zaps and fatigue. My withdrawl symptoms were bad the first week and then gradually got better. Week 3 was good as far as the withdrawls were very mild. And, now in week 4 the withdrawls are extreme. My brain zaps are strong, but only when I move my head from side to side.

Everything I have read states that withdrawl symptoms can last up to 3 months. I pray that I get better soon. I must say that even with the withdrawls, I am still happy to be off Prozac. I feel like a new man!

How long does nortriptyline stay in the system?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Answer
it takes roughly 3 weeks, same as prozac. Answer
Most antidepressant medication can take 2-8 weeks to reach their full potential theraputic effect. Speak to your doctor or pharmacist for more details. The trick is to keep taking what is prescribed before you may notice an effect. Once you feel better, DON'T stop taking it,, or you will be back to square one. Answer
I think it is very individual and probably also depends on what you are treating. I would think that for addiction and ADD/ADHD the effects might occur sooner than for a heavy depression. In my case (ADHD and marijuana addiction), the effects were immediate. Answer

You can save money on a prescription.
Shop around at as many pharmacies as possible. Don't forget to include online pharmacies in your search, as they often have the best prices, and you can save a lot of money on a prescription.
In case you can compare Wellbutrin prices online at www.rxoffer[dot]com .
P.S Many online reliable pharmacies will be happy to provide the prescription to anyone who can answer a few simple questions.

ANSWER

Another Rx program that will pay for Wellbutrin is Bridgestoaccess.com. They will pay for your entire rx for up to 1 year and then after that, you can re-apply again. They only requirement is that a Single-person household make less than $45,000 a year. This program is sponsored by GSK pharm company. Please visit the website for more info. I qualified and rec'd my 3-month supply of Wellbutrin w/in 2 weeks. They also have it to where your doctor's office can call it in to them, answer some quick questions and then you can go get it from your local pharmacy for a copay of $10 the same day. The phone number is: 1-866-728-4368. You just have to fill out the application, send the rx for a 3-month supply, and a copy of your paystub from the last 30 days. Wellbutrin is very expensive as a cash paying patient. Therefore, this program helped me out tremendously.

I've been on it for 9 days now and I've noticed a change in the positive direction, already. Now, my doctor and I just have to get the anxiety disorder together.

Please remember that almost every pharm company has a rx program where you can get the products for free or at a reduced rate. If you don't mind doing the research, you'll definitely reap the rewards.

After frequent high dose use which is more dangerous alcohol withdrawal or heroin withdrawal?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Alcohol withdrawal can lead to DT's (electrolyte imbalance) and seizures which can both lead to death. Heroin withdrawal may make a person feel like they are dying; the biggest danger is dehydration, which if left untreated can lead to serious health problems. Severe alcohol withdrawal should be completed in a hospital whereas heroin withdrawal does not necessarily require hospitalization. Severe alcohol withdrawal is more dangerous.

How can you stop taking Paxil?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Medical questions of this sort should really be discussed with your doctor. While it is certainly possible to stop taking anything, the question is, what are the consequences if you do? Presumably you are taking it for some reason. Possibly there is an alternative treatment that you can use.

What are Percocet withdrawals?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I have been on precribed 10/325 Percocet 6 tabs a day for nearly 11 years. I am also a Master Holistic Healing Practitioner. Once I got my degree, and realized the horrendous damage the Tylenol portion of the 325 was doing to my kidneys and adrenal glands I decided it was time for me to figure out how to deal with the pain. OMG! I will tell you now, this IS ONE of the HARDEST challenges YOU WILL face!

DO NOT withdrawal immediatlely! You must wean yourself slowly by first making the commitment; then having the support of a loved one. Give your pills to that person. TRUST ME on this! Weeks 1-2 go from 6 pills to 5 and start weaning yourself down. In the meantime, the person DISPENSES the pills - NOT YOU.

Additionally, It is important to detoxify your body. This means mineral water baths. (You can buy cheap mineral water at the grocery store). Mix it with Epsom Salt, and Apple Cider Vinegar(Organic). I also added raw papaya juice and pineapple juice b/c of the enzymes. I also began drinking mineral water and the papaya and pineapple juices, along with gatorade.

I did my detox though with a rapid cut-off. I experienced severe night sweats, RLS, insomnia, dehydration, nausea, ... I do NOT recommend this for anyone untrained to cope with the effects and who does not have the herbal remedies readily available. Valerian and hibiscus helped at night and light broths and juices during the day. The pain will pass. It's important to rebuild the energy, do light yoga, and realize that even if you have severe back problems ( I have deterioration of disks ) those can be rebuilt with MSM, Glucosomine, Sulphur, Chondroiton, Calcuium, and Vitamin D. If you choose to be healthy again, you will be.

Good luck!

What are the withdrawal symptoms of citalopram?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Was currently on 10 mg Cipralex, for 1 year. Definitely a good drug to control anxiety, but WARNING! Coming off this drug is horrific. I was told by my doctor to cut down my medication to 5mg everyday for 2 weeks, followed by 5 mg every other day for 2 weeks, then finally, (currently what I am doing) 5 mg every 3 days for 2 weeks. During this time I have experienced the WORST shock you could imagine, almost constantly, slight headaches, and extreme fatigue to the point where I don't even want to get out of bed in the morning. I feel agitated and grumpy most of the time. Honestly, I feel like a drug addict waiting and wishing the 3rd day would arrive so I could get my "next fix." This is ridiculous. As soon as I take the pill, I feel calm and all of the symptoms I mentioned above disappear right away. I wish I looked into the with-drawl symptoms of this medication a little better before I started taking it, cause the way I feel now is very unpleasant! If anyone else feels like this please let me know, as it would be nice to know I am not alone in this cipralex nightmare!

Can you experience withdrawal from zi xiu tang?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I took Xiu Tang for 2 weeks and lost 14 pounds. But recently, I had a physical which revealed kidney and thyroid problems for the first time in my life. When I stopped taking the pills, my kidney and thyroid returned to normal.

If you decide to take these pills, make sure you get a physical to make sure there's not side effects or allergic reactions.

What are the withdrawal symptoms of SSRIs?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Up to a third of people who stop SSRIs and SNRIs have withdrawal symptoms. These include: * Stomach upsets * Flu like symptoms * Anxiety * Dizziness * Vivid dreams at night * Sensations in the body that feel like electric shocks (see references) In most people these withdrawal effects are mild, but for a small number of people they can be quite severe. They seem to be most likely to happen with Paroxetine (Seroxat) and Venlafaxine (Efexor). It is generally best to taper off the dose of an antidepressant rather than stop it suddenly. Some people have reported that, after taking an SSRI for several months, they have had difficulty managing once the drug has been stopped and so feel they are addicted to it. Most doctors would say that it is more likely that the original condition has returned.

What are the withdrawal effects of diazapam?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The withdraw from diazapam depends on the amount used and how long. Seizure is the most common with headaches and shaking, sweats, insomnia, and anxiety. It is one of the worst things to get addicted to. There is nothing to help. The only way to prevent withdraw is to taper your dose down for a few weeks and then stop. It depends how long and how strong the dose.
