How change head lamp on 2004 Kia Amanti?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

I had to take mine to the dealership....they have to take the whole front end off to get to the headlight. it costs about 65.00 to change it and only 13.00 for the bulb. since i had just had my car about 5 months, they did it for free and did not charge me except for the bulb. two months later, the other side went out.....they did not charge me for that side either. Unless, you are a mechanic, you cannot get to it.

Where is the fule filter on a Kia Amanti located?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

The fuel filter is in the gas tank and normally does not need to be replaced

On my 2005 Amanti, the fuel filter is under the back seat, which must be removed to get at the filter. The filter should be changed every 30,000 to 40,000 miles (60,000Km) or every 3 years.

Why won't my car key unlock my glove box for the Kia Amanti?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Make sure you are not using the valet key. Amanti's come with a set of keys (2) that can unlock everything, driver's door, glovebox and trunk lid. There is also a third key designated for valet use, allows you to disable trunk release and then lock glove box with master key. This way the valet cannot look throughout the trunk or glove box but he can lock the car and start it.

Could the tires cause a car to vibrate?

User Avatar

Asked by Wiki User

Yes, some tires are not made properly and the rubber can separate causing the tire to be out of balance causing a vibration. This is somewhat rare but it does happen. Most tire vibrations are caused by uneven weight in the tire or wheel combination causing the tire to be out of balance.
