well, no. But obviously famous riders are amazing riders, and to be an amazing rider, you have to be put on challenging horses. Sometimes you fall off on these. A good rider can ride any horse extremely well. You casnt get the reflex to stop yourself and the horse from falling off, until you have experienced it.

There are many African American equestrians that are probably not know outside the horse industry. There is also lots of African American trainers.
yeah It depends on their style of riding. If you watch international show jumping competitions you will see that some riders (usually German) ride in the back of the saddle. I'm not saying that's right but it does work for some people.
