New spark plugs do not always come pre-gapped. It is always wise to check the gap before installing. The routing of the leads have to be in the same order as they were removed, otherwise cross-firing can occur. Ensure the leads are installed at the distributor in the correct firing order.
You have not turned it on Check power plugs, power leads switches etc

They are parallel. Each plug is in parallel with the other plugs.
There would be six spark plugs for a six cylinder engine. One for each cylinder. Unless it is a diesel, then there are no spark plugs.
freeze out plugs are metal plugs in the block and heads of your engine. they are are there if the coolant was mixed wrong with to much water and the vehicle freezes they will pop out allowing expansion of freezing liquid hopefully saving the engine Part 2: You will see these called freeze plugs, casting plugs, welsh plugs and probably other terms. The holes they plug are part of the cylinder block casting process to allow molten steel/iron/aluminum to rapidly flow into the block casting mold. The fact that they will pop out if the coolant in the engine freezes can be serendipitous but in most cases the plugs go bad due to galvanic action: the steel plugs installed at the factory are dissimilar to the engine block metal and will start to corrode (rust) and will start leaking after a while. This is why most antifreeze manufacturers claim they have anti-corrosion protection; it is also why 99% of replacement plugs are brass. Three points to remember: 1) before replacing plugs do your research and find out EXACTLY how many plugs your engine has and where they are. 2) if you have to replace one plug, replace them all. 3) if you are rebuilding an engine it is cheap insurance to replace the plugs.
Alternator
New spark plugs and plug wires. Do not gap the plugs, they are factory gapped. If you stick a feeler gauge in them you will ruin the platinum plating.
check plugs or coil packs..
You probably used a feeler gauge and ruined the platinum coating. DO NOT GAP NEW PLUGS. Put them in straight outta the boxes.
one or more plugs won't fire
If bad plugs is causing the misfire. It could also be bad plug wires, a vacuum leak, burnt valve, blown head gasket, etc.
Whats happening is water from your washer jets is leaking and running down your airbox and somehow gettin into the coil pack/leads or plugs, causing the engine to misfire, engine management light will probaly be on the dash. It can be fixed by changin the coil pack but i would recoment tryin to change the spark plugs and leads 1st. This is a common fault with ford fiesta but it shouldn't happen with your year because they were realled 03/53 plates from then on the washer jets at a rubber seal on them to stop this from happning.
Old spark plugs can make a car misfire, run rough, and not fire at all.
Could be coil, leads or plugs. On early models it could also be points. Later models with pointless ignition system problems tend to misfire in all rev ranges
Spark plugs
Unless your ford focus is a diesel your car does not have glow plugs.
Bad plugs, wire , coil packs if it has them.
