It's probably either a worn/warped clutch plate, the clutch is out of adjustment or the pilot bushing/bearing is not operating properly.

Q: Ford f150 you can shift through gears but when you go to down shift it grinds.But you pump the clutch it will go in gear.When clutch is engaged and you shift into reverse let out on clutch it grinds?
