there is alot of things make this happen like bad spark plugs or bad oxygen sensor or rich mix of fuel or bad catalystic conventor or bad exhaust or bad air filter or injector sorry about my english
sounds like you use a bad mechanic a good mechanic would replace a cracked exhaust manifold to start with if you can smell gas, there is obvioulsy a leak in the fuel system. this needs to be found as it is a fire hazard
If there is a gas smell inside the passenger compartment of a car, there is probably an exhaust leak in the system. Have it checked immediately.
No thats something else you should probably go to a garage to sort out if you can smell gas !
Typically gas/exhaust, old car smell, history/character. All you need to know.
yes nd it will also give of a oily smell with it
exhaust leak or a possible fuel line leak
Ur exhaust....
You have an exhaust leak and most likely the ventilation system is operating on fresh air mode and exhaust is being drawn in. BE WARNED exhaust is carbon monoxide and is a poisonous gas, get it checked and repaired ASE certified master tech / L1
exhaust leak or its running really rich
Carbon monoxide (exhaust gas) will cause a headache. It can also induce uncontrollable sleepiness. Have this checked immediately. Chances are you have an exhaust leak.
Exhaust of an engine is a gas.
Barring any fuel leaks I would say that your charcoal canister is probably in need of replacement. they can fill up with liquid after some time making them useless and will smell of gas. Also it may be an exhaust leak if it is not an actual gasoline smell.
