vehicle speed sensor may be your problem
Lose of power or ground since all the gauges quit working.
What is the vehicle? late 90's dodge? 97 Dakota, Check fuses
If your Chevy trailblazer 2004 gauges are not working, check your fuel pump.
There is no fuse just for the speedometer. If the speedometer is not working, you may have a problem in the dash gauges cluster, or a vehicle speed sensor problem.
I was having this problem, gauges out, lights still working. Found I could get the gauges back by flicking the trip odometer reset. Went into the instrument cluster and found 2 fuses next to trip reset. Larger cylinder shaped upper, small brown rectangular below it. Lower fuse was loose, gauges would come on and off as I moved it around. I wedged it in place with gauges working, and all is well. I think this fuse is replaceable, but pulled on it pretty good and it didn't want to come. Trip to dealer parts desk in order. gt
Quite possibly vehicle speed sensor
Not knowing what vehicle you have, many vehicles have a single fuse that protects the circuit that powers the gauges. That fuse may have blown for whatever reason. Check the fuses.
They are probably not working because they are most likely broken.
check the vehicle speed sensor buffer located buy the computer look under and behind the glovebox
Is it all the gauges or some? You make have to take the instrumental cluster apart. Make sure all the hardness for the gauges are all connected.
