Pull slide back until end of slide is approximately 3/8" past the end of frame

Push in takedown catch and lift end of slide free of frame

Push slide off barrel

To remove barrel, grasp frame and barrel and twist barrel off frame in counter clockwise direction until it is at right angle to frame and lift up.

Ortgies reassembles easily once firing pin is held in check.

Push firing pin spring and guide into firing pin until end of guide can be pushed into its notch in top of slide. Hook slide over barrel, pull it to rear and downward.
