Hello there I'm no expert but i would say maybe you could make it this way.

1 cup brown rice flour or half brown rice, half buckwheat? or millet flour, last resort corn?

1 cup blackstrap Mollasses

1 teaspoon aniseed powdered

1 teaspoon licorice root powdered

method : warm some mollasses a little and do not let it get hot enough to destroy Blackstrap mollases nutrients.then mix in your flour a little at a time and then your aniseed and licorice powder and start to form a dough.

finally i would say place in your fridge or leave to dry, or add some some more blackstrap mollasses with a little coconut oil around the dough ( ropes , shapes whatever you prefer ) and then it will set with that black look like the candy. Overall it sounds like a healthy treat in moderation compared to a commerical piece of candy that looks good but it most probsbly not doing your body any good

if anyone has time to try it would be great to hear back, as i havn't attempted this, just imagined the process.
