Had tonsils removed 18 months ago so how come you now have tonsillitis?

It's impossible. I mean being healthy and washing your hands will help prevent any disease but if you have tonsils then you are at risk for getting this because there are so many germs going to your mouth by breathing, eating, kissing...ect. How to remove this would be get on anti bios while you have tonsillitis then you'll just have to get surgery cause not getting them removed could keep causing fever and do internal damage. It's a simple surgery and after a few days no more sore throat and fever. Some people never get this disease but i don't know many people over the age of 20 who still have theirs, But they are still at risk to getting tonsillitis cause they have tonsils. gargle with salt water, drink lemon juice, and grape seed extract are some natural helpers to help fight it, but seriously talk to a doctor about getting them out.
