No. The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly called the "mormon" church) has never been affiliated with UPS. The Church has never owned, in whole or in part, UPS.

All of the Church's for-profit ventures are held under Deseret Management Company, which is a holding company that oversees several small businesses. These include:

Deseret Book, a religious book and gift store.

Temple Square Hospitality, restaurants and reception centers in downtown Salt Lake City.

Deseret News/KSL/Bonneville Communications: a newsmedia outlet including radio, internet, television, and print in Salt Lake City.

Beneficial Financial mostly for retirement funds and life insurance.

No. Dole Food Company, which sells Dole pineapples and other fruits, began in 1851 by Samuel Northrup Castle and Amos Star Cooke. What religions practice polygyny?

Well for starters: Jews, Muslims, and even Christians as they claim the Old Testament to be part of their scriptures. It depends upon the part of the world and the laws in place and how much the person follows what they believe to be true. Mormon's (or Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints aka LDS) do have the reputation of doing so but this has not been practiced in the LDS church since the 1800s. There are some offshoots of the Mormon church that still practice it but they are not officially Mormon because if anyone does practice it, they are excommunicated from the LDS church.

What is the Mormons' difference to the polygamist ones?

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (the "Mormon" church) banned the practice of polygamy in 1890. Those who disagreed with this ban branched off and created their own churches (such as the Fundamentalist LDS, the Apostolic United Brethren, and others). These polygamist groups are in no way a part of the mainstream Mormon Church and have their own leadership. They believe that the mainstream Mormon Church has apostatized from the truth, but share similar beliefs about such things as the Book of Mormon, Joseph Smith, eternal families, and modern revelation.
