Once a customer came in the store very upset because the previous day he wasnt satisfied with the service. So i listend to wht he had to say, and apolizied for what had happend even tho i was not working. After tht he calmed down, the lesson i learned from this was never be defensive, all ways keep ur customer happy, because thts good customer service.
yes on a few occasions ...I had a customer who's had invested monies and then there was a down turn in the market ..the customer advised that he was not well informed about the investment that he entered into and lost a lot of monies and he wanted to sell his invested shares ..I advised that the market will pick back up and gave empathy to customer and advised if he sells now he will loss a lot more and advised that he should really wait until the market picks back up although running at a loss at moment in the future he will gain if he could just be patient and wait ...the customer thought about this and once he calmed down he seen the big picture and decided that he would wait .and that ended up as an irate customer been turned around to be more happier and content
