Why is your 1999 Oldsmobile bravada still blow cold air when the heat is on even after you change the thermostat and antifreeze?
I have a 99 bravada, and have had no heat for over a year... until today. I was told by the dealership that I needed a new thermostat, so I had one put in last winter... that did nothing. Today, I had the heater core flushed, and Viola! I have so much heat I had to open my window, and I live in western NY! good luck! Just blow compressed air through the heater core

could be something wrong with the resistor. mine was the opposite and it was my resistor that was going bad and finally went out. 135$ fix.
How do you remove the heater core on a 99 olds bravada?
Don't remove it if you aren't getting heat. Just take the two hoses off the heater core (at rear of engine going through the fire wall on passenger side) and blow compressed air through both inlets on it. It would also be a good idea to change the thermostat also.

MaybeYou may have it on "auto" not off check all switches off You may have a faulty selector switch. Also some vehicles always blow heat even with the heater off.
