Help you are itching from wellbutrin XL you stopped taking it 10 days ago and you are still itching how long before it leaves your system entirely?

My husband stopped WB XL about 2 months ago and the itching still has not ceased. I don't have any solutions but I am looking. Answer: When I started taking it I got a rash all over. I put some antihistamine cream like benadryl on the red patches were itching the worst and waited it out. The cream really helped, the patches where still red for over a week but eventually went away. It was an initial reaction to the Wellbutrin and every so often i still get a rash here and there but a treatable rash is better than being horribly depressed so I'm still taking Wellbutrin. Just don't scratch, that usually starts the rash or really makes a small itchy red patch become a huge one.

You might need a nap. But Wellbutrin tends to increase energy while Benadryl causes drowsiness, so they might cancel each other out. As a Wellbutrin user, I find that taking a 24 hour allergy medication before bed is sufficient.
