First things first, start with products. Find a shampoo and conditioner that have the words "straightening or smoothing" in it. I am a fan of Matrix Sleek Look. Then after you wash your hair, you will want to use a heat protecting and a straightening product. I like Redken All Soft Whip. Apply a nickle size amount to the hair focusing on the shaft. Section the hair into quarters. The smaller the section the better. Next take a paddle brush particularly with boar or horse bristles, (anything but a plastic tip or wire brush will do) and pull one section of the hair tightly as your blow dry. Make sure your blow dryer has a diffuser nozzle on the end to eliminate frizz. Repeat this process until your entire head is dry. If hair is still frizzy or wavy, section the hair again into small sections and run a straightening iron through it. If you can't find these tools or products in your area, check a website such as Amazon.com
