good news is, it just might be an air pocket in your cooling system.

With engine cool, slowly fill radiator with proper coolant and observe coolant flow, once thermostat reaches a certain temp. it will open. At this point you should see coolant level begin to drop because its pumping through engine, continue to fill till no more can be added.

CAUTION: The bad news is, if it begins to bubble and boil out before actually seeing the flow of coolant between radiator and engine. you may have a cracked head gasket.

It just happened to me. good luck!!

Coolant pushing out from radiator back into coolant reservoir?

it is normal, when the coolant is hot and pressure built, the pressure cap allows the coolant to drain to reservoir to reduce pressure in the cooling system But, if it continually does this whereby the reservoir overflows and the vehicle overheats due to a lack of coolant actually in the radiator when cool, there may be an overheating problem or blown head gasket on the engine.

What are the symptoms of internal engine damage due to overheating?

Low oil pressure Low cylinder pressure Anti freeze coming out of the tailpipe (sickly sweet smell) Water in oil Oil in water Frothing or bubbling in radiator

What determines carbonation in soda?

This is created by bubbling carbon dioxide under pressure through the soda. The fizz is carbon dioxide bubbling off.

Car is leaking coolant and overheating what is wrong with car?

one reason this may happen is as simple as the cap on your cars coolant reservoir is stripped or improperly screwed on. when this happens it doesn't allow pressure to build or hold.

What would cause a bubbling noise in a well pressure tank?

A bubbling noise in a well pressure tank is a sign of a hole in the tank. It means that air is getting into the tank and causing air to bubble through the water.

Why is your Jeep Wrangler overheating?

There are many reasons why a Jeep Wrangler is overheating. A leak in the radiator system will cause overheating. Too much pressure in the engine can cause overheating. A bad water pump or thermostat could cause overheating. The transmission can also cause overheating if it is leaking.

What are the signs of a cracked radiator?

Leaking and overheating from lack of pressure.

What is the maximum pressure available for full air brake application?

depend on reservoir pressure

Can you change water pressure by elevating the reservoir?

Sure. The water pressure is mainly dependent on the difference in elevation between the reservoir and the user. So elevating the reservoir nominally increases the pressure available to a fixed user.In practice, however, in large municipal water systems, the distribution isn't by gravity feed alone, and the pressure is maintained by controlled pumps..

What is absolute pressure?

Absolute pressure is simply the addition of the observed gage pressure plus the value of the local atmospheric pressure.

What would result in being able to dissolve a greater amount of gas in a solution?

"INCREASING THE PRESSURE" this is the answer key in my test.

Where is radiator cap 2001 saturn?

The radiator does not have a cap, instead, the coolant system reservoir is also pressurized and the pressure cap is on the reservoir.
