High school courses required for graduation vary widely depending upon state and the student's goals after graduation. However, general requirements include:
Four years of English/Language Arts
Three years of Social Sciences
Two years of Math
Two years of Science
One year of Foreign Language
One year of Physical Education
Many elective or vocational courses
You first have to be confident that you can take a college level class in that subject.
So if you are a math/science person, then maybe AP Calculus, AP Statistic, AP Biology, AP Chemistry, etc.
If you are an English/history person, then AP Literature/Comp., AP US History, AP Government, etc
But just because "everyone" seems to be takin that class does not mean you should take it also if you will only end up failing it. Take the ones you are most comfortable taking. Having 7 AP classes will not look good if you get all C's and D's in them.
Math, Language Arts, History, Physical Education, Health, and Science are some classes that are usually required for all students in high school, though this may vary from state to state and from one school district to another within a state.

To get college credit in high school.
Anesthesiologists are doctors. It isn't the high school classes so much as the college classes that will get you into medical school. In high school you need good grades so that you can get into a good college. And in college you will need good grades to get into medical school. After medical school, you then study to acquire your anesthesiologist certification.
Your High School classes only have a value in gaining you admission to a college.
i would probably try to take AP classes or more European and outside Studies classes
