the world just repopulates itself but it takes a couple of in game days so just sleeping a lot usually brings back the people but all their names will be changed for instance in brightwall Richard the Town Crier became Joseph the Town Crier in my game

∙ 13y agoAll you can do is wait, eventually, new people appear to replace all the people who have died, however they will show a form of aggresion to you bcause of all the people who have died (to the darkness and the crawler, obviously).
