That is a very tough question.

John Fitzgerald Kennedy (known as JFK) was the youngest man ever elected President of the United States. He was 43 when he became the 35th President in the 1960 election beating Richard Nixon, the former Vice President of Ike Eisenhower.

Before he was able to finish his first term in office JFK was assassinated by Lee Harvey Oswald in Dallas, Texas on November 22, 1963.

Oswald himself was subsequently murdered by bar owner Jack Ruby who died of cancer before he could be tried in Court.

The Warren Commission, headed by Supreme Court Chief Justice Earl Warren and appointed by JFK's successor, his vice-president

Lyndon Johnson, determined that Oswald acted alone in shooting the President and the issue has been one of controversy ever since.

The memory of JFK remains a good one with the many Democrats who remember JFK.
