In a pot of plant, one is enough.
House plants need repotting when they need it. This is not as silly as it sounds. if you feed the plant properly it will live happily in the pot it is in but if the roots are showing on the surface of the pot maybe it is time to pot it up one size.
If it is a pot plant take it out of the pot and wrap the rootball in absorbent news paper and leave. After a couple of hours change the paper if necessary, until the excess water has been drawn out. Replace the plant in its pot and if it has not stood too long waterlogged this should cure it.
Worms will not eat your plant but their circulation round the pot will disturb the rootball and cause the plant problems.r
You should plant three (3) Impatiens Plants per 8" container.

Spider plants will shoot out "babies" only once it becomes root-bound in its pot; if you want it to 'baby" you need to keep it in a small pot and not transplant like you would any other plant. Once it bears offspring, you may transplant but only in one in larger diameter pots. For optimum plants, spiders should be used as a hanging plant rather than a table top, or at the very least, should be on a pedestal no wider than the bottom of the pot the plant is in and at least 2x the heighth of the pot and plant. They also like alot of light so put them in a window, but not in one where the direct sun will beat in on it or you may "cook" your plant.
Because it absorbs water and when the soil and plant are placed in it, the pot won't take all the water intended for plant.
One seed, but it is best to plant three to ensure you get good germination. Then select the strongest plant and pull out the others.

Of course you can! Peace lilies are vigorous, and a healthy plant will probably need to be repotted once a year! You can check your plant to see if it needs repotting in several ways. You can check the roots: if they are growing out of the drainage holes in your pot, it needs repotting. You can pull the plant out of the pot and see if it is root-bound (the roots have filled the pot and are growing round and round in circles), and if when you water it the water goes immediatly through the pot and out the bottom, there is probably too many roots and not enough soil to soak up any water. The new pot should not be any more than one size larger than the pot you have the plant in now.
A flowering pot plant or any kind of pot plant will be healthy if the person cultivating it looks after it properly.
