How Muslims describe Allah?

Praise be to Allaah.

Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

"There is nothing like unto Him, and He is the All-Hearer, All-Seer." [al-Shoora 42:11].

There is nothing like unto Him, nothing that is equal or comparable to Him or that can rival Him. He is far above any resemblance to any created being. Whatever crosses the mind of the son of Adam with regard to his Lord, He is greater than that. No creature can encompass Him, may He be glorified and exalted, or imagine what He looks like. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning):

"… and they will never encompass anything of His

Knowledge." [Ta-Ha 20:110]

The Muslim is not supposed to try to imagine or picture Allaah; rather, he has to believe in the sublime attributes which befit His Might and Majesty in which there is none like unto Him. Part of the 'aqeedah (basic beliefs, creed) of the Muslims is that Allaah cannot be seen in this world, as He says (interpretation of the meaning):

"No vision can grasp Him" [al-An'aam 6:103]

But the believers will see Him in the Hereafter, in the gathering-place where judgment will be passed, and in Paradise. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was asked - as it was reported in Saheeh Muslim - "Did you see your Lord?" He said, "I saw Light." According to another report: "Light, how could I see Him?" This is in accordance with what Allaah said to Moosa in Soorat al-A'raaf (interpretation of the meaning):

" 'You cannot see Me'" i.e., in this world.

Neither the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) nor anybody else has seen Allaah with his own two eyes. In the Hereafter, when the people see Him in the place of gathering, they will fall down in prostration before His Might and Majesty. Seeing Him in Paradise will be the greatest of all the joys that the people of Paradise will experience.

You have to recognize Allaah by the Names and Attributes which He has told us about in His Book, and which His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) told us about. Do not occupy yourself with something that is beyond you; devote yourself instead to doing what your Lord has commanded you to do.

Does Allah exist?

Allah does exist. Because if you think about your self and if you look at earth, universe etc it is not easy to create them so actually some one created them and some one sustaining them. If you look at season, how the season change? Its really complicated thing in religion to find it, if you think it nicely, you can find it, however it cannot happen accidentally/magically, it has to happen/sustain by someone, who call Allah/god, that is why you need to believe in Allah/god. Science says human came from mammals so where does mammals come from? Also science discovered different medicine for different ills. Islam question is can a scientist save people from death? Islam thinks scientist can not do it So scientist could not do every thing. In Islam they believe there is proof which shows it is true religion. In Russia a 9 month baby has Quran verse written on baby's leg. Usually On every Friday the verse change to other verse and all verse was from Quran. When the verse appears the baby feels unwell and no medicine could not stop it. So Islam saying true, I am agree with Islam. Some time "Shaitaan" {evil} makes miracles for untrue religion because "Shaitaan" (evil) want to make more people to follow his work (against the will of Allah), but these miracles never proof as true miracles these miracles always proof as false. Islam has been a miracle, Muhammad (pbuh) has been to night journey which is call miraj. He visited 7 sky ,hell and heaven. He travelled by "buraq" And he also spoke with Adam, Ibrahim {Abraham} , Isa {Jesus} and Musa etc he also see people in hell and heaven, and some people were in torment of hell and some people were in heaven enjoying happiness. That is why Islam says they are the natural religion and also Muhammad (pbuh) never say false/untrue. It means what Muhammad (pbuh) told and taught us, it was true, because he never lie. "Shaitaan"(evil) is free to choose because Allah gave us to the earth to be tested. Because Allah wants to see who will follow Allah and who does not follow Allah and "Shaitaan" will take you to hell. If you follow "Shaitaan" you will be happy in earth, because "Shaitaan" want to make him more attractive and people would believe in him more , it means people would not believe in Allah more, because people will not understand the meaning of being on earth. But in life after death , you will go to hell and you will be tormented. The Quran took ages to create it and jibril help to create Quran. Muhammad (pbuh) knows every single word of the Quran and he does not need to read Quran to say single word of Quran, because he knows from his heart and memory. That is strange and also Hafiz can read the Quran without looking at the Quran. That is why Islam says there has been miracles and its mean Islam is natural religion. In hadith Allah says: take hold of your imaan(faith) don`t give in to "Shaitaan"(evil). In Quran Allah says:25:65: O our Allah, avert from us the torment of the Hell; undoubtedly, its torment is inseparable. In :25:66 Allah says : Undoubtedly, that is a vile place of abode. In :25:68: Allah says: those who worship not any other god along with Allah, soul not same which Allah has forbidden unjustly and do not commit adultery; and whosoever does this shall get the punishment.

Muslims believe in One Unseen God. You can not imgine how your Creator looks like because Allah doesn't look like any of His creations. Allah is the one and only one God with no partner, no companion, no son, no father, no associate,and no resemblance. Like Human beings He does not get tired, or Hungary or need to have a son or child to start a family.

We as Human beings don't even have the power to see Allah Suhana Talla.

Remember Moses wanted to see Allah and to that He replied something like I ll shed some of my Light on the Mount of Toor. But that mountain blasted into Peices and still has burnt on the top.And it was such a huge impact that Moses fainted.

Now if Moses couldn't see His Lord, how can we?

Muslims do belive that in the after life in Paradise on aday of Friday, they would finally get to see the face of their Lord and by then their eyes would be enabled to see His Beautiful Blessed face. May Allah enable us all to be able to see His Face in Jannah/Heavem.Ameen
