I'm 16, and after trying just about every diet on the planet, the only one that worked was weight watchers. i weighed 160 and got down to 115 in about a year. make sure your weight doesnt stem from psychological problems, such as compulsive eating(emotional eating, often binging large amounts). if that's the case, and you are successful at losing the weight, it might all come back when you finish the diet, due to your inability to cope in ways other than overeating to compensate for racing emotions.
