I have worked for diffrent companies and have found the ones that advertised correctly lead to greater sales by me.

A cell phone company I worked for failed to utilize their marketing budget and failed to generate any leads that we could sell correctly.

The traffic generated by no advertising, but just walking in usually leads to less money on the deal and a usually longer drawn out process, because there was no advertisement to explain your business you now have to spend most of your sales pitch doing just that.

Once you have, hopefully successfully explained your business, you can now start your sales pitch.
