No-one really, and why should we ask? Can't we live a day without knowing? Just chill, relax and realize that you don't need to know, you don't even need to care. Take a breather and let the chips fall where they may. Otherwise, curiosity will be the death of us yet, and that would be our future.
My prediction for humanity is that we will be wiped out by a more advanced species, but not our lifetime. Keep in mind that this a single prediction from a faceless internet user, and will probably not be accurate.
