Black holes are the cause of gravity... Black holes are created when a supernova condenses, creating a black hole. It condenses because gravity has won the battle between the star's core.

So basically, gravity fuels a Black hole.

All mass attracts all other mass, this is gravity. When you get enough mass together in one place it will hold itself together by its own gravity. Get to much and it starts to crush the mass at its center. This is part of what makes stars work. The mass at the center is so compact that the nuclei fuse together. When stars are super massive they end their lives explosively. Sometimes there is enough mass that the local gravity is so strong that nothing not even light can get away from it; a black hole.

Where do black holes get gravity?

black holes are stars which collapsed under their own gravity.

How is gravity related to black holes?

it is said that there are black holes in space which we have discovered is true and how gravity realates to a black hole is well, a black hole is said to suck away other universes we have not discovered yet gravity pulls things to the ground and a black hole uses that same pull force to suck in universes

How are tides planets and black holes related?

There is a force that unites the tides, planets and black holes. Tides are generally thought of as the rise and fall of the level of the oceans due to the gravitational effects of the moon and the sun. Planets have gravity proportional to their masses, and black holes are points of massive gravity. Gravity or its effects unite the three things listed.

How did blackholes get their name?

black holes have such great gravity that nothing, not even light can escape them. That is why they were named "black holes".

Are black holes living organisms?

No, black holes are not living organisms, but dead stars with collapsed cores and infinite gravity.

Can you stand on black holes?

No, this is not something material like a table or a chair. Black holes are simply an area in space where gravity is infinite.

What role does gravity play in the formation of black holes?

A black hole is what is left of an object that has completely collapsed under the force of gravity.

How do tides affect black holes?

Given that tides are caused by gravity, and that black holes are a major SOURCE of gravity, it isn't clear that black holes would be affected at all by other gravitational sources. Of course, we can know nothing at all about whatever is inside the event horizon of a black hole.

How are black holes related to stars?

Black holes are the result of the gravitational collapse of a large star.
