because of all the logging companies, ranches and all the mining in the amazon, the roads are needed for transportation of the workers, supplies and the products. But they're destroying the rainforest because of their size and length. Also, they cut off the movement for both the animals and the people there. the amazonian highway is the largest road in the amazon.
