You can get one new for ~$250. Used however they are a much greater deal. For instance, I got mine used for nearer~$100 and it has 120GIG hard drive space.

If you are using Wifi your router may not be built for gaming. If its plugged directly into the modem it may be a error from unplugging from the Internet to many times. and if its a direct to the router connection try resetting the modem removing the battery then reset the router.
