I believe it was a Marlin model 49. I had one of these myself in the 60's. If you are trying to find replacement parts, then you can use the Marlin parts as is. That is what I did, parts for Marlin are easier to find and sometimes cheaper.
where can i find replacement parts for a 22 caliber Stevens modle987
If your rifle is a tube magazine type semi auto, it was made under the Revelation brand for Western auto by Savage, and is known as the Model 80. SOME parts may beavailable from a gunsmith, or sources such as gunpartscorp.com. Depending on the parts needed, the cost may be more than the value of the rifle.
Savage made them for the western auto parts stores to sell

These guns were made for Western Auto Supply Co. By a different manufacturer. The closest description I could come up with is made by Stevens and is only worth about $200.00 in 100% condition. Hope this helps. I own this very rifle. The Western Auto Revelation 100 is a Mossberg 321. Parts are available from Numrich.
Try gun shops, want ads, e-gunparts.com, gun show.

No. Used parts are out there. Try e-gunparts.com
The Revelation Brand was used by Western Auto for guns made by others, but sold by Western Auto. In the case of your Mdl 104A, this is a Mossberg Model 640 (nice rifle, by the way). Parts may be available thru the website for Havlin Sales, and at gunpartscorp. .
Revelation was a trade name marketed by Western Auto. If you have a model number, I may be able to cross-reference it to the manufacturer.
