If you had recorded the engine block numbers from the old engine you could compare with the replacement engine.

This sounds like a belt. Either it is loose or glazed over. Either have the belt adjusted or replaced, or you can try some belt dressing, commonly sold at auto parts stores.
It is probably missing. Have it tuned up and a compression test run on the engine.
A person can get a 2004 PT Cruiser engine diagram from a Chrysler dealership. An auto parts store also may have a copy of the diagram for customers.

A 1994 Corolla engine may vibrate if the motor mounts need to be replaced. The motor mounts can be purchased at any auto parts store.
you have a bad belt in you engine you to have it replaced or if it isn't to bad you can use some belt sqeal stopper you can get from most auto stores
First verify that you can turn the engine over by hand. Next, verify that you have a good power supply (battery in good condition and fully charged). Verify that you have a good connection from battery positive to the large wire at the starter. Verify that you have a good connection from battery negative to the body of the starter. Temporarily connect battery positive to the small wire at the starter. Listen for the starter to turn the engine over at a normal speed for cranking the engine. If so, your starter is working. Many auto parts stores offer free starter testing - not sure if they can be tested while still on the vehicle.

An engine block heater can be bought at your local car maintenance store such as NAPA Auto parts. You can also order one online at websites such as Amazon. It is best you verify the exact make and model of your car as they're not one size fits all.
I called Auto Zone and asked this question and he said it was supposed to be 6 degrees before TDC (top dead center). I would call Auto Zone or your local parts store just to verify but that is what I was just told. :)
