every company in the UK is to adhere to government policy, Immigration is a growing part of our lives, and the Human declaration of human rights outlines the rights and freedoms of all residents in the UK. It also includes freedom from discrimination and the right to life and equal treatment. Additionally, citizenship is taught in many schools across the UK and teaches how push and pull factors are appealing for economic migrants. Education about the reasons for immigration are sadly blurred currently in the UK, yet I think I can outline this for you. A push factor is where a person feels pushed from their country due to war for example, and pull factors are things that attract immigrants, for example the right to employment, these rights are written into the law and so it protects them. In countries such as Africa, human rights are not adhered to unless they are written into the law and become legal rights. Therefore feel unsafe in their countries, so they move here to a more humane lifestyle. A company can make its employees aware of the issues immigrants feel back home and can also enforce laws such as the racial equality act, which enforces how taunts and discrimination in the workplace shouldn't be tolerated. Government policy is implemented for a reason, make your employees aware of this and educate them further about this common issue in the UK. Hope this helps!
