Do not buy patterned bathing trunks as this emphasizes the person looking heavier than they really are. Safely work on a tan (no tanning beds as they are unsafe) and tan slowly using sunscreen. When a person has a tan it makes them look slimmer. Thin, in between or over weight people shouldn't be judged by their body build, but their personality. If it bothers the person they are over-weight they should go to places like 'Weight Watchers' (not so much a diet as learning corrective eating habits) and work out at the gym. Men of any age lose weight faster than women.
