im pretty sure its the same way humans lose weight take your dog out for walks about once each day for 30 min and let it run around allot.
make sure you dont feed it too much dogs are meant to have 1 full meal a day and a bowl of water with maybe dog treats or dog biscuits when they behave. try to feed him/her the most healthiest dog food u can get.
